Hull City 2-3 Chelsea
Jose Mourinho has been talking to BBC Sport: "I think five goals is what people like. How many times do people complain when there are no goals? From our side, it was high quality football. When we conceded the two goals we were affected by that. In the last period of the first half we didn't play really well.
"We played fluid, fast, quick and dynamic football. At half-time I told my team to go back to that and play football, rather than focusing on mistakes. And we did that.
"I was going to play Remy and Diego together but Diego was injured so we had to go just for Remy. And even as a lone striker he got the goal.
"Thibaut Courtois is a big player. He made a mistake but the important thing was to be there in the second half for the team and he was.
"Our position is our best since the start of the season. The maximum distance we've had is eight points with the same number of matches. Now it's six and a match in hand with nine matches to go. After the international break will go back to one match per week, except our game in hand. I believe we can finish the season very strong."
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports: "The victory is very, very important obviously, we go back to three points after a draw at home last week."The performance was very, very good until 2-0. We lost a bit of quality after their two goals, but in the second-half from minute one, we recovered a good level of football. We deserved the three points."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reveals he was going to bring on Loic Remy to partner Diego Costa at 2-2, as well as winger Juan Cuadrado, before Costa told his manager he had a hamstring injury.
